MedZing

MedZing was a mobile app  developed by Epic Medic that empowered users to get answers to their medical or health related questions from the sources that matter most…doctors themselves. Users were able to connect 24/7 with doctors by posting their health questions in the app. Users were able to get multiple medical opinions on their health concerns and connect to their preferred doctors for more in-depth consultations through either a Private Chat or Video Consultation. I was tasked to develop the MedZing brand identity from the name of the app, the logo, website, social media and print communication materials.

Solution
Following the belief that a healthier you makes a happier you, the MedZing logo was based on a doctor’s stethoscope forming a smiling face. This also represents the efforts that MedZing took to ensure that their doctors responded and conducted themselves in the most professional and friendly manner.

The mobile app design took some cues from Google Material Design to aid in familiarity and ease of use. The website did not contain a web app and was only meant to dispense information about the mobile app, leading the user to download it via a link. It was hence designed as a single-page scroller, to mimic the way a user might navigate a mobile app.

Illustrations and simple iconography was predominantly used in all communication materials such as Facebook posts to simplify and to make information friendlier and easier to comprehend.
