The Listening Tree is a brand culture creator, working closely with organisations to mold and align the entire company from top to bottom. They approached my team and I at MAYHEM to design and develop their corporate website.
Solution
Version 1 of the brand’s website was designed as an online tool to assist The Listening Tree to gain valuable insights into how users think. This allowed the Listening Tree to harvest a database of ever-changing thought trends at anytime.
The website also served as a platform for users to express their opinions without prejudice on constantly updated topics. They could keep a log of their differing moods and compare them to how other users else felt on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Version 2 was a website refresh exercise and revolved around the idea that in order to help shape an organisation’s culture, The Listening Tree must first gain valuable insights as to how the organisation operates – by listening to the people and employees within the company and having in-depth and meaningful conversations with them to find out what it is that makes their brand tick.
Version 1 of The Listening Tree website won a 2008 Gold W3 Award in the Branding category, a Silver W3 Award in the Professional Services category and a Silver Davey Award in the Professional Services category. The W3 Awards and Davey Awards are part of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.
