HERMÉS wanted to create an exclusive set of greeting cards for Chinese New Year which were to be given to their loyal customers in Malaysia.

HERMÉS leather goods are renowned for the quality and flawlessness of the raw material itself and the intricate craft and detailing of their craftsmen. We reflected this through the selection of the card material itself – ‘Skin’; a beautiful, subtly textured paper in bright orange, inspired by the flawlessness of Asian skin to enhance the printing and detailing of the card. The focal design point of the cards themselves were designed to be laser-cut rather than printed to to give the cards a whole new dimension and reflect the amazing skills of the HERMÉS master craftsman.
