BAD LAB is the ultimate testosterone filled man’s personal care range; man-gineered for the man who is all walk and little talk. Constantly seeking new frontiers and boldly going where no other personal care range has gone before. My team and I were tasked to design and develop the BAD LAB e-commerce website and to create all their social media materials for their monthly promotions.
Solution
We really wanted to reflect BAD LAB’s distinct and unconventional voice in its e-commerce platform. Delving into the rather “complex” psyche of the male mind, the BAD LAB website was designed to give men the simplest and fastest e-commerce experience that they could ever dream of. The jackpot machine shopping assistant automatically selects a combination of products covering hair, body and face care at random so that the man won’t have to waste their precious time shopping which should be used to seize the day out there in the real world. Of course, he would have the option to browse through each product manually, but where’s the fun in that?
The focus on Facebook was to build up an army of quality BAD LAB fans. Men who had enough of smelling like lavender or ylang-ylang. Men who believed in BAD LAB’s mantra and shared a genuine love for the brand. The messaging was carefully crafted to speak to the testosterone-filled inner caveman that resides in all of the male species.
